शिव स्वर्णमाला स्तुति का पांचवां श्लोक इस प्रकार है:
"अंतःकरण
विशुद्धिं भक्तिं च त्वयि सतिं
प्रदेहि विभो"
"सांब सदाशिव शम्भो शंकर शरणं मे तव चरणयुगम्"
इसका पूर्ण अर्थ है,
"हे प्रभु, मुझे अपने भीतर शुद्धिकरण और आप में सच्ची भक्ति प्रदान करें।" "हे सांब, सदाशिव, शम्भो, शंकर! आपके दोनों चरण ही मेरा आश्रय हैं।"
